İhlas Gazetecilik A.Ş. (Türkiye Newspaper)

Türkiye Newspaper (www.turkiyegazetesi.com.tr), which began its publication life on April 22, 1970, continues its activities as the only national newspaper whose owner and publishing policy have remained unchanged since its establishment.

Türkiye Newspaper maintains its characteristic of being a newspaper that has a true and accurate understanding of journalism, applies press and publishing ethics and principles without compromise, and adopts a publishing line committed to universal and contemporary values.

Türkiye Newspaper is a highly competitive publication in the media sector with its experienced management approach, stable publishing line, brand awareness, and strong readership base.

At the beginning of 2013, Türkiye Newspaper made significant changes in its content and writing staff with its “New Journalism” approach, reduced its size, renewed its layout, and achieved a more easily readable appearance.

In addition to its content, Türkiye Newspaper also has a strong technical and distribution infrastructure. Türkiye Gazetesi, which has printing facilities in Istanbul, Ankara, Izmir, Adana, Trabzon, and Antalya, has a capacity of 55,000 newspapers per hour in its Istanbul facility alone. Thanks to its printing facilities in Ankara, Izmir, Adana, Trabzon, and Antalya, it produces pages supported by local news, addressing the agenda of each region.

The new structure, which strengthens the integration of printing operations and publishing management within İhlas Gazetecilik A.Ş., has ensured a higher quality of printing services provided to national and local newspapers, publishing houses, and advertising agencies.

This new management model, which has made the company dynamics much more active, has enabled the provision of complete printing solutions from graphic design to printing. In addition to national and local newspapers, many magazines, inserts, brochures, and books are also printed at the facilities.

Besides sales through newsstands, Türkiye Newspaper, as the first implementer of the hand-delivery model in Turkey, distributes newspapers directly to homes and workplaces.  The hand-delivery system, widely and globally used in Japan and especially in USA, establishes strong communication with readers and also ensures sales stability. The hand-delivery network also provides a significant customer base for the İhlas Group’s marketing activities.
